Morgan County Sheriff’s K9 unit receives body armor donation
MORGAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A K9 unit at the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office will have some extra protection in the field following a new donation.
The sheriff’s office posted on Facebook about receiving a bullet and stab protective vest for Molly, one of the law enforcement’s K9 units.

The vest was donated by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies across the nation.
The body armor is made in the U.S., custom fitted and certified by the National Institute of Justice.
