Morehead State women’s golf wins conference title by 29 strokes

Third-largest winning margin in OVC history

MUSCLE SHOALS, Al. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Morehead State women’s golf are OVC Champions after winning the conference tournament by 29 strokes in Alabama this week.

Head Coach Stephanie Barker, the conference’s Coach of the Year, had her team in a comfortable 13 and 18 stroke lead after the first and second rounds to glide into first place and capture the Eagles’ third title in women’s golf.

“They’re an incredible group so to see their efforts pay off with hardware is that much better,” said Barker.
