MOREHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) – As COVID-19 cases rise and the Delta variant presents more problems, city officials are having to make tough decisions about what protective measures to take.

Morehead is the latest city to bring back mask requirements, as seen in a post on Mayor Laura White-Brown’s Facebook page.

The post said that effective July 30, masks are required to be worn in city buildings and vehicles when another person is present. The mayor said this was a step to keep both employees and community members safe.
