More relatives arrested in missing baby case in Ohio County

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Two more family members have been arrested in the search for a missing baby in Ohio County.

Kentucky State Police say that the second set of grandparents for 8-month-old Miya Rudd were arrested on Wednesday, June 12, in Owensboro at their home.

Fifty-year-old Taletha Tucker was arrested on a warrant from Indiana. Rudd’s grandfather, 53-year-old David Tucker was arrested for a non-payment on a warrant in Daviess County.

The two are the parents of Rudd’s mother, Tesla Tucker. According to KSP, Tesla Tucker’s three other children were staying with her parents but have now been removed from the home to a new location.

Following the arrests, both sets of the 8-month-old’s grandparents, her parents, and another suspect have been arrested in connection to her disappearance.

The investigation is still ongoing in the search for the missing baby.
