Moped Driver Injured In Crash In Lexington

Lexington Police said a moped driver was injured Friday evening when he was cut-off by another vehicle, lost control and crashed.

The accident happened at Tates Creek Road and McMeekin Place.

Police said the moped driver suffered a gash to his forehead and initially refused medical treatment at the accident scene, but was eventually taken to the hospital for treatment.
