Montgomery Co. teacher killed in Jeffersonville crash
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A school teacher is dead after an accident in Jeffersonville Friday morning.
The Montgomery Co. Sheriff says at around 7:00 a.m., the Sheila Huff Baker was on KY 599, and was turning left onto Main Street when she was hit by a truck.
The Sheriff believes she didn’t see the approaching vehicle.
A representative of Montgomery Co. Schools says Baker was a science teacher at Mapleton Elementary, and had worked for over 14 years in the Montgomery Co. School District.
The truck had 3 people in it. The driver suffered minor injuries.
