UPDATE: Runaway Laurel teen found safe

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department, Chris Melder was found safe at about 2:30 p.m. Monday.

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The search is on for a missing 17-year old in Laurel County who deputies say ran away on July 2, 2020, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say Chris Melder was last seen off Dog Branch School Road, seven miles west of London.
