Missing Morehead woman found in California

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) — A woman reported missing after disappearing with a man wanted by police has returned home.

The Morehead News says 18-year-old Serena Ross was located by police in San Diego after she was reported missing from Rowan County around August 29th.

Authorities tell the newspaper it appears Ross was held against her will by her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend, 26-year-old Trcore Grant, is accused of exposing himself to multiple women at Walmart and Burke’s Outlet in Morehead.

Ross’s mother told the newspaper her concerns were what Grant would do if Ross wanted to turn herself in.

Multiple charges are now pending on Grant in San Diego, on top of those already in Rowan County, the newspaper says.

Grant has not been found yet.
