Missing Marion Co. man found safe

Calhoun has been found and is safe, Lebanon police said in an update.

The Golden Alert has been canceled.

A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing 82-year-old Marion County man who may be headed to Lexington.

According to the Marion County Emergency Management Agency, Charles Calhoun was seen leaving a home in Marion County on Tuesday in a red 2001 Ford Explorer with license plate 000EMF.

Calhoun is described as a Black man of medium build with black hair, brown eyes, a mustache and glasses.

He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, dark blue jeans, a beige hat, beige shoes and no coat.

His vehicle was spotted in Bardstown on a FLOCK camera on Tuesday.

Today, his vehicle was seen on the Bluegrass Parkway heading toward Lexington.

If you have any information on Calhoun’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call police immediately.
