Missing Casey County man Jacob Ring found dead in pond
CASEY COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Officials in Casey County say a man who had been missing since January was found dead over the weekend.
According to the Casey County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Jacob Ring had been missing since January 22.
The Casey County Coroner’s Office says the body was discovered Saturday afternoon in a pond on Deany Vanoy Road. The coroner reported being called to the scene just before 2 p.m.
Authorities confirmed the body was identified as Ring.
Officials say Ring’s body is being taken to Frankfort for an autopsy as the investigation continues.
