Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen Preps For Nationals

On the heels of the Miss Kentucky 2014 pageant, we bring you the story of another special young lady, Alex Francke.

Alex was named Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen. It’s the teen segment of the Miss America organization. Alex leaves for nationals in Orlando, Florida on July 25th.

She’s prepping for that competition now which judges base on categories like scholastic achievement, physical fitness and on-stage question.

Alex spoke to us about the honor.

"Then they said her name and my mouth just dropped. All of the pictures my mouth is wide open. I was like ‘oh my gosh’, I couldn’t believe that it finally happened," she said.
