Minor shot in Lexington on Valley Farm Drive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A minor is recovering from a shooting that happened last night in Lexington.

Police say the shooting occurred around 10 p.m. last night (4/24) on Valley Farm Drive.

When they arrived, police say they found a minor suffering from a gunshot wound.

That juvenile was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers are trying to figure out what led up to the shooting.

ABC36 News Now is working to get suspect information from police.
