Military police arrest KY man for child sex crimes
VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) — A man wanted for child sex crimes in Kentucky was picked up Thursday by military police.
Kentucky State Police say a warrant was issued for Don C. Lewis III after a search of a home on Plum Tree Court in Versailles.
Investigators accuse Lewis of sharing images of child sexual exploitation online and promoting the sexual performance of juveniles online.
Police say Lewis was arrested in Prince George, Virginia by Fort Lee Military Police Thursday night.
Lewis is currently awaiting extradition back to Kentucky to face charges.
He is charged with prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor and distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
