Military Missions in need of items for care packages for deployed servicemembers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Military Missions, a Lexington nonprofit, is still in need of items for holiday care packages for servicemembers deployed overseas.

Packages from Military Missions go to soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and coast guardsmen and include snacks, hygiene products, socks, entertainment items like cards, and personal letters of support.

The nonprofit still needs a few specific items including toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, candy and individually wrapped snacks.

Military Missions was launched in 2004 by Beth Pennington, a mom of a U.S. Marine.
