A Midsummer Night’s Run Saturday in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Thousands of people are expected in downtown Lexington Saturday evening for A Midsummer Night’s Run, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary.

The Fastest Kid in Town race begins at 6:00 p.m.

The 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk starts at 7:00 p.m.

The 5-K Run is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.

There will be temporary street closings downtown:

-East Main Street/Richmond Road between Upper Street and Chinoe Road

-Short Street between North Upper Street and Midland Avenue

-Midland Avenue between Third Street and Main Street

-East Vine Street between Old Vine Street and East Main Street
