Meth, heroin trafficking charges in Madison Co.
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison Co. Sheriff says a traffic stop turned into an arrest for drug trafficking for a Richmond man.
According to the Sheriff, a deputy stopped a vehicle on the Eastern Bypass around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. The Sheriff says during the stop, the deputy searched the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia. The deputy then called in a K-9 unit that detected drugs in the vehicle.
43-year-old Charley Hensley was charged with trafficking in heroin and methamphetamine. He was also charged for having drug paraphernalia and marijuana on him, as well as operating a vehicle under the influence. He was taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center
