Meth Arrest in Laurel Co.

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two men have been arrested in Laurel Co. after police say they found methamphetamine and other drugs on them during a traffic stop.

According to police, they stopped a GMC Yukon on Ky Hwy 80 West for a traffic violation.  They say the driver, Elbert McFadden told the officer he had needles on him.  Officers say they also found what appeared to be meth on McFadden. 

After searching the vehicle, investigators say they discovered a fake Mountain Dew bottle with a false bottom that contained several small baggies of what appeared to be meth.  They also found a small amount of marijuana and scales.

McFadden was arrested, along with a second man in the car, Brandon Rush.  Both were taken to the Laurel Co. Correction Center.
