Men Accused Of Burglarizing Historic Lexington Home
Two men were taken into custody Thursday after police said they tried to break into an historic Lexington home.
Police were called to the Hunt Morgan House on North Mill Road shortly before midnight.
When officers arrived, they said two men were seen running away from the home.
They were taken into custody.
Officers said a window on the home was shattered and there was some damage to a door but that it does not appear anything was stolen from the home.
Police said they found burglary tools at the scene..
Clayton Yearta, 34, and Lowell Green, 39, were arrested and charged with burglary.
