Memorial And Fundraiser Held For Cole Hon Family

A memorial and fundraiser hoped to help the family of a Clark County teen who died from meningitis.

Cole Hon was a 15-year-old student at George Rogers Clark High School. He died from a form of meningitis shortly after being diagnosed.

To help with funeral costs, the community gathered to organize a benefit at Justice Elementary Saturday.

"It’s a really good feeling to see people who’ve never even met these people and the charity and compassion shown by this community and surrounding communities, it’s heartwarming," said Heather Wilson, event organizer.

You can still donate to the Go Fund Me account set up in Cole’s name: http://www.gofundme.com/jiuims.
