McKee man arrested on meth trafficking charges in Berea

Expired license plate on truck sparked traffic stop

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 35-year-old McKee, Ky., man is charged with meth trafficking following a traffic stop Sunday afternoon in Berea.

According to Berea Police, Brandon Davidson was charged with first-degree second-offense and no registration following. According to Madison County Jail records, no bond has been set as of Tuesday afternoon. Officers said they stopped his Silverado pickup at about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Chestnut and Prince Royal streets for expired plates and because a passenger was not wearing a seat belt. He was stopped at about 4:30 p.m.

Police said approximately 17 grams of suspected meth were seized during a search.
