Lexington mayor speaks out after shooting death of teen

LEXINGTON, KY. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton took to Facebook on Tuesday to address the recent shooting death of 16-year-old Arsenio Jackson Jr.

“Gun violence in our city of any kind is tragic and unacceptable, especially when it takes the life of a young person. My prayers, and the prayers of our entire community, are with all of our families who have lost a child to violence. Your loss is a loss for all of us,” she wrote in her post.
