Masked gunman robs Danville business

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Danville Police say a man with a gun walked into Vendors Village on Ben Ali Drive just after closing Monday night and confronted two employees, demanding money. Investigators say both workers were able to escape as the robber’s attention was diverted to a safe. Police say the man stole money from the safe and left. No one was hurt.

Police say the suspect was described as a man with a slender build, 5’8″ tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a black mask. Anyone with information is asked to call Danville Police at 859-238-1220.
