Maryland Fugitive Arrested in Laurel County

Deputies said it happened around 9:30PM on American Greeting Card Road, south of London. The sheriff’s office said it had received information about 50-year-old Patrick Johnson of Welcome, Maryland. State police there had charged Johnson with felony theft regarding a stolen truck.

Deputies said Johnson was considered armed and dangerous and also charged as a fugitive. Deputies said they found a the stolen truck off Adams Road and found Johnson three miles away.

Deputies said he was taken to the Laurel County Detention Facility and was awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
