Martin Luther King Celebration

The Winchester / Clark county unity committee formally the MLK Unity Committee was made up of several residents of Clark county in 1986. When it was first voted in to be a national holiday. Clark county has celebrated this event for 33 years and keeps going stronger from year to year. The mission statement for the committee is as followed:

The Winchester/ Clark county unity Committee is an organization made up of several individuals that are of vital importance to the heritage of Clark County from the stand point of liberal arts, political and educational.
