Markey Cancer Center recognizes troopers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The UK Markey Cancer Center took to Facebook to give a big shout out to two troopers who went above and beyond during the recent snow storm.

In the post, the center thanks troopers Chris Martin and Laney Hall who picked up medications in Louisville for bone marrow transplant patients in Lexington and drove through the snow to bring them here.

The center says their couriers fell through, and without the troopers volunteering, their patients would have been stuck without having important medications.
