Marco Rubio campaign stop in Lexington canceled

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A campaign stop scheduled in Lexington this Friday morning by Republican Presidential Candidate Marco Rubio has been canceled, according to the Eventbrite Website, which was handling RSVP’s to the event. The Lexington appearance also disappeared Wednesday night from the list of scheduled campaign stops posted on Rubio’s Website.

No explanation was given. The Senator from Florida was scheduled to appear in the Lexington Center Bluegrass Ballroom on Vine Street downtown for a 10:15 a.m. event on Friday.

ABC 36 News reached out to the Rubio campaign, but as of this writing, we had not received a response.
