Many questions, few answers after stabbing in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington don’t have much to go on after finding a man early Tuesday morning who had been cut.
Officers say they received a call about a disorder in the hallway of an apartment building on Danielle Lane just after 2:00 a.m. When they arrived, police say they could tell there had been a disturbance in the area, but didn’t find anyone.
Shortly thereafter, investigators say they received a second call close by, reporting a man beating on doors and asking for help. Officers say when they went to check it out, they found a man who told them he had been shot. After further investigation, police say they found that the man had been cut across the back with a sharp object.
Police say the man was uncooperative in their investigation, and was also unclear about the sequence of events.
He was taken to the hospital.
