Man’s death ruled homicide in Lawrence County
LOWMANSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The death of a man in the Peach Orchard community of Lawrence County has been ruled a homicide, according to Kentucky State Police.
KSP says the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office called for assistance on Tuesday after a man was found dead near State Route 2033.
The victim was identified as 58-year old Carl Daniels, according to State Police.
Investigators say evidence at the scene suggested foul play and the preliminary autopsy results from Wednesday revealed Daniels’ death was a homicide.
The case remains under investigation by KSP Detective Jeff Kelley.
