Mandatory Ban For Non-Essential Water Use In Booneville

The Booneville Water District is issuing a mandatory ban on all non-essential water use due to lack of rainfall and the lowering river level.

Officials say water usage should be limited to essential purposes such as cooking and bathing.

Non-essential water use includes filling swimming pools, watering yards and gardens, and washing cars.
