Man With BB Gun Arrested After Standoff In Berea
Berea and Kentucky State Police had to deal with another standoff situation Sunday afternoon.
Berea officers said they responded to Liberty Avenue after a caller said a man had assaulted a juvenile. Officers said they knocked on a door and the suspect came to the window, showing a gun.
That’s when a perimeter was set up around the home, with KSP eventually making an arrest.
The gun the suspect showed officers, ended up being a pellet gun. That suspect, officers told us was David Curtis. Curtis is charged with menacing, resisting arrest, wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
