Man on most wanted list found shot to death

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- Frankfort Police say a man found shot to death Saturday was on the county sheriff’s most wanted list.

Officers say 39-year-old Michael Gaines was found with multiple gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon on Forest Hill Drive.

His murder is the city’s sixth homicide of the year.

Police say Gaines was wanted for possession of cocaine.
