Man Wanted For Kidnapping Arrested In Lexington
Police arrested a man Wednesday wanted in connection to a violent kidnapping in Lexington.
Alex Washington is accused of forcing a woman into the basement of a home on Dalna Drive last week and beating her.
According to court documents, Washington held a knife to another man’s throat and forced him to duct tape the woman’s hands and legs.
Documents go on to say that Washington and his wife, Jennifer, gagged the victim and began hitting her with a tire iron.
Police said they believe Washington was high on cocaine and thought someone stole his drugs and was interrogating the victim.
Washington is charged with kidnapping and assault.
Jennifer Washington was arrested back on September 24th and remains in the Fayette County Detention Center on a kidnapping charge.
