Man Walks Away From Work Release

Officials say James Herald walked away from a work release at the Kentucky River Regional Jail Tuesday around 1 p.m.

He was serving a one year sentence for public intoxication and theft under $300.

According to authorities, Herald had already served two thirds of his sentence.

The jail administrator says he’d never caused a problem before.
