Man tried to make contact with child in Richmond parking lot

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Richmond Police are looking for a man they say was driving around suspiciously in a business parking lot and tried to make contact with a child.

Investigators say the child ran back into the business and told a parent what had happened.

Police say the reported incident happened January 24, 2020, around 5:00 p.m.

Investigators say the man is in his early-to-mid 40’s and was wearing a baseball cap and driving a white pickup truck.

Police say at this point, this appears to be an isolated incident.
