Man taken into custody in Brussels after security alert
BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian authorities say a man with a fake bomb belt containing salt and cookies caused a big security operation during the morning rush hour Tuesday.
Brussels prosecutor Rym Kechiche said the man, who claimed he would be blown up outside a major shopping center, was known for psychiatric problems.
Kechiche said authorities are currently investigation whether there were like to terrorism or a fake threat of an attack.
