Man Stabbed During July 4th Party

A Fourth of July fight left a man in the hospital early Saturday morning.

Lexington Police said a man was trying to get some unwanted guests to leave a party when he was stabbed.

Police said it happened shortly before one at a home on Clover Valley Drive. Officers told us at least one party crasher showed up unannounced and when another party-goer tried to get him and others to leave he was stabbed in the stomach.

The victim was taken to UK with non-life threatening injuries.
