Man shot in parking lot of Camelot West

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a man was shot in the back outside a strip club in Lexington.

Officers responded to Camelot West Gentlemen’s Club at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.

Witnesses tell police there were two possible suspects – a woman and a man.

Both were seen leaving in a white Cadillac.

Police say there were lots of shell casings in the area and two vehicles, as well as the building, were hit by bullets.

Police are not sure what led to the shooting and the case is under investigation.

One arrest made outside of the club for disorderly conduct, but it was not related to the shooting.

Officers say when they first arrived, a man was impeding their investigation and he was arrested.
