UPDATE: Name released of man fatally shot during confrontation

TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was shot to death during a confrontation inside a home just west of Taylorsville in Spencer County on Thursday, according to Kentucky State Police.

Investigators say 27-year-old Kyle Story, of Louisville, went into a home and was confronted by the homeowner, who shot and killed him.

Details of the confrontation weren’t made public.

KSP says at this time, no charges have been filed against the shooter as the death investigation continues.
