Man shot while allegedly breaking up altercation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is recovering after a shooting in northwest Lexington early Monday morning. 

Police believe the victim stepped in while two men and a woman were arguing. 

According to police, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot him. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Police add that the two men left in a white Honda Civic. They are still looking for the men and the car.
