Man sent to hospital after hit-and-run in Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Winchester police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that sent one man to the hospital Sunday night.

Officers say Shawn Tuttle was walking on Lexington Avenue near Harper’s Pawn Shop at about 11:45 p.m. when he was hit be a vehicle that then took off.

Officers say they currently have no witnesses, but are working to find video from nearby businesses, and are asking anyone who may have seen something to come forward.

Tuttle was taken to UK hospital with head injuries.
