Man robs Lexington taxi driver at gunpoint

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington say they’re looking for a man accused of using a gun to rob a taxi driver.

It happened around 9 p.m. Saturday night on Cashel Court near WoodHill Park.

The taxi driver told police he picked up a man in his mid 20’s at Hidden Stream Drive.

When he dropped him off on Cashel Court and asked for money, the man reportedly pointed a small black gun at him and demanded money.

Police don’t have any specific suspects right now.
