Man left with life threatening injuries after shooting

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man was critically injured after a shooting in Estill County Saturday morning.

According to Kentucky State Police, the man pulled into the parking lot of a garage where he works around 9 AM when someone pulled up and started shooting at him.

After investigating, police later found 35-year-old Steven McDowell of Irvine and arrested him for assault.

The victim, from Madison County, was flown to UK Hospital with life threatening injuries.
