Man killed in shooting at Lexington Convenience Store

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) —  A man has died after a shooting at a convenience store in Lexington.

The Lexington Police Department responded to Dairy Mart on the 1100 block of Winburn Drive at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday night for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, the found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to University of Kentucky Hospital, where he later died.

According to LPD, the suspect was located and taken into custody at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
