Man injured in overnight hit-and-run in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man suffered a head injury after being hit by a car in downtown Lexington early Monday morning.

Police say the accident happened at Vine and Upper Street.

They say the man was crossing the street when a car hit him and then drove off.

Police say the pedestrian suffered a head injury but that it didn’t appear to be life-threatening.

Police are looking for the driver and the vehicle, which is described as a black Chrysler 300 hatchback with front-end damage.
