Man injured after losing control of ATV, crashing

LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 31-year-old Liberty man was injured Wednesday afternoon when he lost control of the ATV he was driving and crashed along a Casey County road.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers responded to a single-vehicle accident at about 3:10 p.m. Wednesday on KY 70 about one mile east of Clementsville.

David Dillion, of Liberty, was operating a Honda ATV eastbound on KY 70 when he failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway, troopers said.

Dillion was transported by EMS to Casey County Hospital in Liberty with non life-threatening injuries.

This collision remains under investigation by Trooper A.J. Mattingly.  Tpr. Mattingly was assisted at the scene by additional KSP troopers, Casey County Fire, EMS and Rescue.
