UPDATE: Police seek info on fatal shooting, GoFundMe account set up

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two teenagers were arrested Thursday and charged in connection to the shooting death of another teenager in March.
Lexington Police say 18-year-old Michael Roland and a 17-year-old were charged with murder and first-degree robbery in the death of 18-year-old Montaye Mullins.
Investigators say Mullins was found shot at the intersection of Augusta Drive and Raleigh Road shortly after 3 a.m. on March 11, 2021. Mullins was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Roland was taken to the Fayette County Detention Center. The 17-year-old, whose name wasn’t released because he is a juvenile, was taken to the Fayette County Juvenile Detention Center.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred overnight.
Shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday, March 11, officers responded to Augusta Drive for reports of shots fired. A man suffering gunshot wounds was located at the intersection of Augusta and Raleigh Road. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The Fayette County Coroner’s office has identified the victim as Montaye Mullins, 18, of Lexington.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An 18-year-old Lexington man has become the city’s eighth homicide victim of 2021
Montaye Mullins died at about 3:50 a.m. Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center from a gunshot wound, according to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn.
Mullins was discovered unresponsive on the sidewalk outside an apartment building at about 3 a.m. on Augusta Drive near Raleigh Road, Ginn and police said.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is in the hospital in serious condition after an early morning shooting Thursday in Lexington.
Lexington Police said they were called shortly after 3 a.m. to the area of Raleigh Road and Augusta Drive. They say when they got there, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police did not release any suspect information.
