Man identified in deadly weekend shooting in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim of a fatal weekend shooting in Lexington as 60-year-old Jose Manuel Salazar.

According to the coroner, Salazar died on Sunday at UK Hospital after being found shot on Saturday at Biskoff Court. His death marks Lexington’s 13th homicide of the year.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details at this time.
