Man identified in fatal Jessamine County crash

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- An update on a story we first brought you Saturday night at 11 about a fatal car crash in Jessamine County.

Cecil Stipe, a 40-year-old man from Nicholasville, died Saturday after a crash on Kentucky 1981.

The sheriff says he lost control just after 3 PM, drove off the road, and hit a tree.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The sheriff’s office says it’s the first fatal wreck it has worked this year.
