UPDATE: Man shot through a door in Lexington dies
UPDATE: (12:30 p.m.) – A man shot late Tuesday night through his back door has died, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
The report identifies the man as 46-year-old David L. Kelm of Lexington. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
According to the coroner’s report, Kelm died at UK Medical Center from his injuries.
Lexington police continue to investigate.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say they believe they know who was behind a late-night shooting that left one man hospitalized.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500-block of Skyview Lane.
According to police, someone fired a round through the back door of a home, hitting a man inside.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
No one else was hurt.
According to police, the shooting was not random, and they have an idea who the suspect is.
