Man hit, killed by train in Kentucky
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – A man struck by a train in Kentucky has died.
News outlets report that Louisville Metro police received a call from an employee of a nearby restaurant around 7 p.m. Sunday. The man was hit and killed by a train off Frankfort Avenue.
LMPD Officer Vadim Dale says police have not determined if the death was an accident or suicide, and they have not identified the name or age of the victim.
Dale says a second train that was stopped behind businesses as police investigated was not the train that hit the victim. He says LMPD and Amtrak are trying to contact the train that hit the victim.
